I’m really loving the new UD liner and thought this would be a good chance to talk about that as well as a hella basic tutorial.

The Ink For Eyes is new for spring 2014, and so far I’m very impressed. It has a thin, felt tip applicator with a very fine point. The color is very pigmented (although not as much as their gel liner), and it applies very evenly.

One thing I did notice about it is that for the first few applications it tends to pull and catch on the lid, and after about 15 or so applications the very very tip of the applicator gets a little dry. Though pressing harder on the wand tends to take care of that issue. The wear time is very good with only the barest smudging on the inner corner.

It hasn’t replaced my beloved Art Liner as my favorite but it’s sitting at a very comfortable #2.
